Human Since 1982
Time Art
A common curiosity, impartiality and a dose of chance brought Humans since 1982 founders Per Emanuelsson & Bastian Bischoff together.
After discussing questions around the separation of art, design and entertainment, in a time when everything is exposed, measured, analysed, explained, optimised and made efficient, they wanted to celebrate the wondrous, the fascinating, the black boxes, the mysterious, the ephemeral and the inconceivable.
Time differently
The idea behind the Clock Clock project was conceived once founders Per Emanuelsson and Bastian Bischoff met in Sweden.
They experimented with animated typography and developed a font that was based on a grid of clocks, whereby they made the clock-hands stop in certain positions in order to create letters and digits.

Collection
Part kinetic sculpture, part functional timepiece, ClockClock 24 is produced and carefully assembled with true dedication in Humans since 1982’s workshop in Sweden.
Twenty-four clocks come together to tell a collective story in one singular digital display. Each individual clock hand is choreographed in line with the others, so that these clocks tell the time as a collective, rather than individually.
